As a psychosocial counselor and trainer Katja Keersmaekers supports many individuals and companies within the music industry. Together with Esther van de Poel she is the founder of The Mental Crew, the go-to-place for all mental health related questions. She is specialised in effectively supporting people through their common (nonpathological) mental problems and challenges. She also works with several bands and teams on improving their group-dynamic. Besides all this she is frequently hired to give trainings on defining boundaries, openness and burn out prevention. Due to her former career of 16 years in the music industry at an executive level her clientele involves people from all across this industry.
