Founder, Artist- & Tour manager, Okay, Sounds Great
Dennis de Groot is the founder of Okay, Sounds Great, an Amsterdam-based artist and tour management agency that supports Black and Brown artists in building careers. With over 15 years of experience nurturing independent and emerging talent, he has worked with a diverse range of artists across management and touring, such as Moses Sumney, L'Rain, Loona Dae, and Avangelia. As a partner at David Passick Entertainment, Dennis also co-manages the live careers of several contemporary jazz greats, including Makaya McCraven and Pino Palladino. He contributed to initiatives like Red Bull Music Academy and The Show Must Be Paused and co-founded the music blog Moovmnt, which played an integral part in the early 2000s beat scene. Dennis is an active member of the Recording Academy, regularly speaks at conferences and universities, including NYU, Northwestern University, and Erasmus University, and currently serves as DEI & Accessibility Coordinator at ESNS. He co-directed the music documentary "Easy Man", which explores the life of flutist Ronald Snijders, and, before pivoting to music, was an accomplished illustrator, collaborating with renowned brands and publishing a book of his work titled "Bare Essentials.
