For the past 15 years, Abel González has contributed to the huge growth of Primavera Sound as part of the international booking team of the festival, responsible for the celebrated lineups of Barcelona and Porto editions. Many years before that, Abel discovered that music would be the deciding factor in his life at the age of 8, when he got the first records he had asked for. At 15 he formed a punk rock/hardcore band that would last until he was 23, and for a few years he alternated his work in the social field (he is a graduate in psychology) with writing about music in specialized media and making his first bookings for underground concerts. His broad vision made him take everything on board: from extreme dark sounds to the brightest and most global pop.
