Join this session and discover all the Italian artists in the lineup while enjoying a delicious breakfast offered by ITA – the Italian Trade Agency. Carlo Pastore, the session host, will tell you about the artists’ careers and showcase their music in this engaging and interactive pitch, where you'll also have the opportunity to connect with the artists' teams.

Italian music is thriving with innovative and international talent, highlighted by artists breaking away from mainstream trends. Daniela Pes blends Sardinian ethnic music with electronic sounds, while Post Nebbia explores psych-pop rooted in Veneto's imagination. Naples showcases its cultural renaissance with artists like La Niña and Bassolino, merging Mediterranean urban and '70s funk influences. In Salento, Mauro Durante, with Justin Adams, bridges traditional music with blues and African styles. Songwriter James Jonathan Clancy delves into experimental, hallucinatory folk music.

Fresh voices like BigMama and R.Y.F. are advancing themes of body positivity and queerness, while Ele A revives old-school Italian hip-hop and Valentino Vivace brings back traditional Italo-Disco. Electronic music is represented by okgiorgio (lo-fi), Indian Wells (cerebral sounds), and Kharfi (disco). Versatile drummer Evita Polidoro moves seamlessly between jazz, pop, and underground scenes. Subcultures thrive with Comrad (punk), España Circo Este (reggae), and Kyoto (industrial and spoken word). Meanwhile, One Eat One, part of the Revelland sensory project, ensures their performances engage all senses and are tailored for audiences with disabilities.

This dynamic scene will be celebrated at ESNS 2025, showcasing the originality and diversity of Italian music on a global stage.
