I want to sign up for ESNS 2026. When is this possible?

Applications for ESNS 2026 will open the first of May 2025 and close on the first of September 2025.

Conference
Where and when will ESNS 2026 take place?

ESNS 2026 will take place from 14 to 17 January 2026 in the city of Groningen.

Where can I get my registration for the Conference?

You can order your tickets now through our webshop. Please note that our tickets are only available through the ESNS website, we do not sell through third parties.

It is necessary to personalise your ticket, but how do you do that?

Why is personalising my registration important?
Personalising your ticket is essential to make our entrance to the conference smooth, once personalised you will receive your e-ticket 2 days before the start of ESNS 2026. It also gives you access to the ESNS Database, where you can make contacts, appointments and see who else is coming.

What should I do if I have ordered multiple registrations?
If you have bought multiple registrations, make sure you personalise one ticket for yourself, using your own account. You can easily transfer the remaining tickets to the right colleague, they will receive an email so they can personalise their own registration.

How can I personalise my ticket?
Once you have received the order confirmation, you can personalise your registration immediately. In the email of your order confirmation you can click on the button to personalise your registration. Log in with the ESNS account, this way your account will be linked to your personalised registration. This is also why you can not personalise a ticket for your colleague, if you personalise a second ticket the registration will be linked to the wrong account and your colleague will not have access to the Delegate Database.

When do I receive my e-ticket?

You’ll receive your e-ticket on January 12, but only if you have personalised your registration. If you have not received your e-ticket, please let us know as soon as possible via support@esns.nl.

I made a mistake during my registration, can I still change things?

If you have made any mistakes during during the order or personalisation of your registration, please let us know through support@esns.nl. We can help you change the incorrect details.

I can no longer attend the conference, can I get a refund?

A placed order can be canceled until December 14th 2025. Until that date, the organization will refund the money to your account, minus a €25,- administration fee. After December 14 2025, a placed order cannot be cancelled. If you want to cancel your ticket, send an e-mail to support@esns.nl.

Can I reclaim the credit on my wristband from ESNS 2025?

Refunds have been made automatically, if you have not received a refund of the remaining balance on your chip please send us an email at support@esns.nl with your chipnumber or ticket barcode.

A refund costs €1,- and is only possible for a credit of more than €2,50. Requesting a refund is possible until 1 March 2025

Besides requesting a refund of the credit on your chip, it is also possible to download an invoice of all purchases made with your chip via your account in the Delegates Database.

Noorderslag
Where and when will Noorderslag 2026 take place?

Noorderslag 2026 will take place on Saturday 17 January, 2026 at De Oosterpoort in Groningen.

Where and when can I buy tickets for Noorderslag 2025?

Festival tickets are not on sale yet, tickets will go on sale late September. If you want to be updated on our festival, please subscribe to our Newsletter.

If I am inside at Noorderslag, can I go out and then back in again?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to go outside and re-enter. There are plenty of caterers at the Oosterpoort and a smoking area has been set up.

Is there an age limit?

There is no age limit at Noorderslag. Under 16 years of age, you may only attend Noorderslag if accompanied by a parent/guardian.

I can no longer attend the festival, can I cancel my ticket and get a refund?

Sorry, festival tickets are non-refundable. Please also see our terms and conditions.

Accessibility

We do our best to ensure the accessibility of the festival so that everyone can enjoy ESNS. However, not every location is accessible for everyone, unfortunately. Find more about accessibility at ESNS here.

If you cannot visit the festival without supervision, you can bring an accompanying person. After you have bought your festival ticket, you can request a companion ticket via support@esns.nl.

I have a visual and/or hearing impairment

If you would like to use a sign language interpreter, please let us know at accessibility@esns.nl. Then we will look at the possibilities together.

Guide/help dogs

You are allowed to bring a guide/help dog to the festival venues, but we stress that the festival is not an animal-friendly environment, due to the crowds, loud music and lights. The KNGF Guide Dogs says: "We are not fans of bringing guide dogs to festivals, concerts and other places with crowds and loud music. The dogs cannot do their job and lose their function.'

Where should I park my bicycle?

Please park your bicycle only in the designated areas. You can use the bicycle parking facilities at the Grote Markt, Akerk, and the Forum. Note: bicycles parked incorrectly may be removed by the municipality. See this link if your bike has been removed.

How does ESNS manage my personal information and what does ESNS do to protect it?

At ESNS, we take your privacy seriously and believe you should know what personal information we collect and how we use it. We have done our best to keep this explanation brief and accessible. If you would like to learn more or need more information, you can always contact us at privacy@esns.nl.

We reserve the right to change the terms and conditions of this privacy policy. If this happens we will notify you through our website and if applicable and necessary, ask you to renew your permission. Our privacy policy is designed with you in mind. With our policy we embrace privacy by design and try to minimise personal information collection. However, to provide high-quality services, we need certain information as a (necessary) condition.

How this privacy policy applies to you, depends on the way you interact with us. For example, if you purchase a ticket for one of our events we will use your details to process the order, carry out the agreement and, unless you opt-out, inform you about our events. If you purchase a conference registration we will use your name, company name and email address to include you in our secure delegates database (only applicable for conference visitors), unless you opt-out.

What does ESNS do in terms of sustainability?

ESNS has an ambitious sustainability policy and we have concrete plans to become increasingly more sustainable. We do this by reducing our impact, as well as sharing knowledge and activating stakeholders to be part of the movement towards a greener music industry and future.
