The sound of Michael Ekow fluctuates within the soundscape of indie, hip hop, R&B, and house. Ekow, an alternative hip hop artist of Ghanaian descent, has spent his life in England, Germany and now the Netherlands. A zealous wordsmith eager to capture feelings through recordings and poetic expressions that vividly paint moments, he also dissects existential crises. Ekow has been inspired by the likes of Rod Stewart, Florence and the Machine, Kendrick Lamar, and Frank Ocean, and in June he dropped his impressive second EP together with producer/guitarist May.
