Arp Frique returns with The Perpetual Singers starring Brandon Delagraentiss (‘son of a preacher man’ from Houston) and legendary LA-born singer Rocq-E Harrell. His new journey channels his love of organic, funk-based music full of obscure synths, bubbly basslines and swirling guitars to bring a new-old hybrid which you can describe as P-funk meets gospel-disco. Arp Frique is the alter ego of Rotterdam multi-instrumentalist Niels Nieuborg, through which he expresses his love for music from Suriname, Cape Verde, Ghana, Nigeria and Jamaica.
