Manfred Tari writes articles for music media such as ESNS-Exchange.eu, Musikwoche.de or Höme Für Festivals. Additional he chairs and hosts panels for events like ESNS, Festival Playground or Reeperbahn Festival. He has been working in the music industry since 1987, first as a booker for the FZW concert club (1984-1989) in Dortmund, and later as a founding member of the Popkomm music fair in Cologne from 1989 to 1998. Subsequently, he worked as a freelance journalist for magazines such as Pollstar.com, Musikmarkt.de, Music & Copyright, Vip-News or the Intro Festival Guide and in the conference team of Popkomm in Berlin. Since 2009 he has been working in the same position for the conference editorial team of Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg.
