Jessica Dassen is the Head of Inclusion & Sustainability at Muziekgebouw Frits Philips Eindhoven, where she drives strategic projects that promote inclusion and sustainability in the cultural sector. She oversees cultural venue rentals, sponsor relationships, and funding applications. With over two decades of experience as production coordinator in various companies, Jessica has managed concert logistics and production. As a freelancer, she advises on sustainable events for the Green Leisure Group and still works backstage at large-scale festivals like North Sea Jazz. In 2021, Jessica founded Stichting Backstage Pass to increase diversity in the Dutch events industry. Its inaugural project, “Podiumtechniek voor Meiden,” successfully introduced young women to careers in stagecraft, where she now serves as a board member. Jessica brings a wealth of experience and commitment to inclusive and sustainable practices to her work and speaking engagements.
