President, European Composers & Songwriters Alliance
Helienne Lindvall is an award-winning songwriter, musician, and President of the European Composers & Songwriters Alliance. She writes for The Guardian's Behind the Music and Plugged In columns and chaired the Ivor Novello Awards Committee. Formerly Head of Business & Songwriter Relations at Auddly/Sessions (backed by Max Martin and Björn Ulvaeus), she has worked as a session singer and performer in Stockholm, NYC, and London.
Helienne has written for artists including Roger Sanchez (Turn On the Music), Big Daddy Wilson, and The Dark Tenor, collaborating with hitmakers like Jörgen Elofsson (Kelly Clarkson), Patrik Berger (Robyn), and Steve McEwan (Carrie Underwood). In 2016, her co-written song A Better Man reached the UK Eurovision finals.
